Strategy Assessments
Hosfeld & Associates conducts assessments to help clients identify opportunities to increase profitability and growth. Assessments have two goals:
To improve performance and
To create an insight-ready environment.
The assessment helps us find out where the opportunities are for improvement. It also raises awareness about a variety of issues; and out of this awareness, new connections, innovations and solutions can arise. Before the assessment begins, we ask clients to imagine what a successful outcome of the process looks like. With this in mind, we use the assessment to explore key questions such as:
How clear is the strategy or desired objective?
How deeply are people engaged?
What is working well? What can we leverage?
What opportunities exist to improve performance by doing things differently?
The assessment combines interviews with key employees, employee surveys, expert review of strategy and marketing documentation, external research (focus groups, surveys). In addition to qualitative information about opportunities the assessment gives the organization a scorecard of the following:

The strength of six “success producing” skills needed for profitability
The degree of alignment achieved in support of strategy
An assessment can be precursor of a larger strategic design and engagement process. It can also be performed on a stand-alone basis. Clients considering a multi-step strategic design process might engage an assessment without obligation for further work with Hosfeld & Associates.
