Research Report: Leadership of Sustainability

Incorporating the values and practices of sustainability into a business follows a predictable pattern and requires certain kinds of leadership characteristics, according to a study published by The Center for Ethical Leadership, a Seattle non-profit leadership development organization. In its 30-page report, the Center describes the experiences and characteristics of a wide cross-section of leaders taking part in the “profitable sustainability” movement. “The Leadership of Sustainability: A study of characteristics and experiences of leaders bringing the ‘triple-bottom line’ to business,” was created for the Center by Pat Hughes, Senior Associate and Project Director, with contribution from Kathleen Hosfeld, Special Projects Consultant.
