Kathleen M. Hosfeld, President

Kathleen Hosfeld is a seasoned consultant who works with for-profit and non-profit organizations on strategy, strategic planning, and organizational change.  Her personal mission is to support people and organizations in connecting with their deepest source of meaning, inspiration and creative potential. She combines left-brain analytics and evidence-based decision-making with right-brain tools of intuition, passion and creativity to create solutions that benefit the soul and the bottom line.

Kathleen brings more than two decades of experience to the design of client solutions.  Her clients have included Fortune 500 and middle market companies (financial services, technology), non-profit organizations (education, training and the arts), and faith organizations.

With her help clients have launched new products, services and organizations; navigated significant organizational change – including management transitions, organizational turnarounds and business transformations-; and geographic expansion (regional to national).  She has also helped clients find shared vision where before there was conflict and a lack of direction.

Kathleen developed a proprietary online strategy assessment tool based on research by and with the permission of professors from Texas A&M, Louisiana and Arizona State Universities.   She is a guest speaker to MBA and undergraduate students on ethics and entrepreneurship at universities such as Seattle University, Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Washington. She has presented interactive workshops on strategy independently and in partnership with chambers of commerce.

She was a contributor to the Center for Ethical Leadership’s study, "The Leadership of Sustainability." She writes about strategy, stakeholder engagement and organizational change at Listening | A Strategy Blog.

She has served on the Board of Directors for ArtsEdWashington and Annex Theater, and as a committee member of the Board of the Seattle Youth Symphonies. She provides pro bono consulting services to arts and other non-profit organizations.

"Facilitating seems like such a simple word for what Kathleen accomplished with our board. Her expertise and ability to meet every board member (where they are) and combine and construct a common workable vision for change was nothing short of miraculous. Her depth of communication skills in building bridges, and creating buy in to new and sometimes uncomfortable leadership roles and clarification is amazing. This was the healthiest time investment we have experienced and our assurance within our new sought direction is priceless. Act 1 sends out a loud "brava!"
